Volunteer leaders – you can contact your staff support person to post open positions to recruit volunteers here or complete the General Interest position description form following the directions below.
SUBMITTING A POSITION
To do so, please complete the appropriate VOBB Position Description Form below. Select and download the form that best corresponds with the sector/group the position is under (use the General Interest form if you do not know the sector/group). Once you have completed the form, please email it to Ty Booker at bookert@asme.org. A notification will be sent to you once the form is received.

Notes:
- We will ask you for an “end date” for each position posting. The posting will be automatically removed from the VOBB web site at this end date or when the position is filled, whichever comes first.
- If you fill the open position before the end date you specified, please let us know by sending an email to vobb@asme.org.
- For ongoing or open-invitation positions, please use an end date of six months from the application date. The positions will be reviewed every six months, to ensure that contact and position information remain current.
- We want to make sure your experience here is satisfactory and helpful. We will send you an email once the position is filled or expires, requesting that you provide us feedback on your experience with the VOBB and letting us know whom you selected for the position.
