The ASME Speakers Bureau is a new resource for ASME units to help develop quality programming for a variety of events such as section meetings, Early Career Forums, public meetings, for example during E-Week, and technical conferences.
Topics may range from those appropriate for the public - presenting scientific issues of general concern to a public audience – to general - for a normal ASME audience of engineers, students, and guests – to specialized - aimed at engineers and students in fields that are closely related to that of the lecturer.
Why invite a speaker?

More on ASME’s Strategic Priorities It is our hope that the speakers list aligns with ASME’s strategic priorities – Energy, Globalization, and Workforce Development. While all lecture topics are welcome, units are encouraged to offer programming that aligns with and supports these strategies.
