Words from the Team Leader of ASME Section Revitalization

Your ASME leadership believes very strongly that every member deserves the professional benefits available through strong local Section activities.  While most of our geographic Sections are doing very well, some are in vital need of volunteers to work with their local membership.  If you have not been receiving meeting messages from your Section leadership, then likely you are in an area that needs some fresh direction.

If you are presently in an inactive geographic area, we invite you to become involved in helping to bring meaningful local membership activities to your area.

Networking with other ASME members on the local Section level can be exceedingly rewarding.  Many have found this to be an important part of their own professional career by sharing the benefits, services and programs of ASME and communicating the value we provide for your Membership dues.  Simply put, volunteering is an important way to strengthen your own ASME membership experience.

We do have many new organizational tools available to our volunteer leaders.  These same leadership skills and resources will help you succeed in your career.

Please contact myself or your District Leader for additional details.

Thanks

Dennis A. Armstrong, Team Leader, ASME Section Revitalization
