ASME Events Management Department

ASME has an internal Events Management (Conference/Meeting Planning) Department, located at its corporate headquarters in New York City.   With over 70 years of combined experience, the Events Management staff handles over 170 of the Society’s key technical and non-technical conferences, Congress, Annual Meeting, Continuing Education Courses, Standards & Certification Meetings, Board Meetings, as well as Special Events held throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, and Asia on an annual basis.  Our Department provides high quality services at very competitive prices.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Site Selection and Contract Negotiation Services
• Committee Liaison and Management Participation
• Budget, Forecast, and Financial Reporting
• Coordinate ASME Web-site and Marketing
• Oversee Registration Services
• Coordinate Hotel and Convention Center Logistics
• Coordinate and Negotiate Audio Visual Requirements
• Oversee Awards Program Logistics
• Coordinate Tours and Special Events
• Oversee Exhibits, Poster Sessions, and Sponsorships
• Coordinate Conference Signage
• Purchase Conference Marketing Items
• Obtain Certificate of Insurance from Suppliers
• Oversee Compilation and Printing of Final On-Site Program Book
